How to create a Tribute Fund for your loved one

It’s extremely quick and easy to set up your Tribute Fund and start supporting the Mater Foundation in your loved one’s name. It’s just four simple steps and all you need to get started is your name and your email address.

Once your fund is created, you will be able to upload photographs and videos, share memories of your loved one, add journal entries, make donations, and even create a beautiful visual tribute by ‘lighting a lantern’ for them. You’ll be able to invite friends and family by email or Facebook and ask them to become involved in your tribute for to loved one.

Anyone can help you raise money for the Mater Foundation through your Tribute Fund. Friends, family and colleagues can give donations or create their own Sub Fund. This is an individual fund that contributes to your fund’s total. Sub Funds are ideal if people want to take part in a fundraising event or celebrate a special day such as a birthday or anniversary. Their Sub Fund page can include all the details for their event or day while the total raised is added to your Tribute Fund.
